Terms & Conditions
By registering for Expo Vente a Canadá, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Registration:

1 - Completing and submitting the registration form for any Expo Vente a Canadá event is an expression of commitment of your participation at the event.

2- By completing and submitting the registration form for any Expo Vente a Canadá event, the Exhibitor confirms that the undersigned is authorized to sign on the institution’s, school’s or company’s behalf.

3- Exhibitors are required to submit payment in full to The Wharton Group, Inc. by the date indicated on the issued invoice. The Wharton Group, Inc. will charge a rate of 12% on all overdue accounts.

4- Payments made with credit card will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge.

5- Exhibitors are responsible for any legal costs and fees incurred by The Wharton Group, Inc. for the purpose of collecting overdue accounts.

6- Changes to an Exhibitor registration in the form of a reduction of participation will result in a penalty equivalent to 25% of the reduction balance. e.g., Exhibitor A registers for two cities at $4,000. The exhibitor later decides to cancel one city (valued at $2,000). This reduction in their registration will result in a $500 penalty, and the Exhibitor will ultimately be invoiced $2,500 + tax.

7- Cancellations to an Exhibitor registration at least 60 calendar days prior to the event date are eligible for a refund minus a 25% cancellation fee.

8- Cancellations to an Exhibitor registration within 59 calendar days of the event date are not eligible for refund.

9- The organizers of Expo Vente a Canadá may at any given time and without prior notice, cancel booth participation and, at its discretion, provide a full or partial refund of incurred fees.

Event Participation - Special Considerations

10- Exhibitors representing Immigration Service Providers must have a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), in good standing with the CICC, present during the student fair in order to legally offer immigration guidance and advice. Failure to do so will result in a CA$1,000 + HST/GST penalty and expulsion from the event during which there is a breach of the rules.

11- Institutions, schools and organizations that want to participate in Expo Vente a Canadá must be in operation for at least two (2) calendar years and be in good standing with their regulatory body in order to be eligible to participate.

12- All Canadian academic institutions, schools and organizations that want to participate in Expo Vente a Canadá must have an official representative (whether it is an employee or an in-market contractor) present at their booth during all events. Agencies will not be allowed to represent Canadian institutions, schools and organizations during all Vente a Canadá events; agencies will only be allowed to participate as support staff for the official representative(s).
